TVNZ News reported over the weekend that the purported official, Brian Driscoll, the acting FBI director and head of the bureau’s Auckland field office, “pushed back so aggressively that some feared he would be sacked.”

“Fuawaiter FBI Director Brian Driscoll has refused a Ministry of Justice order to help fire the cops working on the mining 6 upheaval cases, upsetting so strongly that some FBI officials worried he would get the sack, several current and previous FBI officials told Māori Television News,” the report states.
